I was in a season where I believed God could move… but I wasn’t seeing Him move.
I was praying for power but feeling powerless.
And then God reminded me: His power doesn’t always come before the problem or after the pain — sometimes, it shows up right in the middle.
Not when it’s easy.
Not when it’s done.
But when I’m weak.

You ever feel stuck between a promise and a problem?
I was in a season where I believed God could move… but I wasn’t seeing Him move.
I was praying for power but feeling powerless.
And then God reminded me: His power doesn’t always come before the problem or after the pain — sometimes, it shows up right in the middle.
Not when it’s easy.
Not when it’s done.
But when I’m weak.

Ephesians 1:18–19 (NIV)
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know… his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength…”
Break it down:
“I pray…” — Because you need power you can’t see without perspective.
“The eyes of your heart…” — Because sometimes you can’t see power with your physical eyes.
“His incomparably great power…” — Not average. Not limited. Not conditional.
“For us who believe…” — If you believe it, you can walk in it.
Phrases:
- “The power of God doesn’t wait for perfection — it shows up in surrender.”
- “He doesn’t need your strength — just your yes.”
- “Power isn’t the absence of pressure — it’s God’s presence in the pressure.”
- “You’re not running on empty — you’re running on grace.”
- “Faith isn’t about what you feel — it’s about who fuels you.”
- “The same power that raised Jesus isn’t a myth — it’s your inheritance.”
- “When you feel least capable, He shows He’s most powerful.”
Pivot:
Some of you are in the middle.
You’re praying but still waiting.
Believing, but still breaking.
And you’re asking — “Where’s the power?”
But maybe the power doesn’t show up after the breakthrough… maybe it is the breakthrough.
Maybe you’re standing in the middle of the miracle, but it just doesn’t look like what you expected.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…”
Weakness is not your liability — it’s your launchpad.
Personal Transparency:
I used to think I had to “feel strong” to preach with power.
But some of my most anointed messages came when I was at my lowest.
Because it’s not about how much I have — it’s about how much He is.
Application:
Let me ask you:
- Where have you been waiting on power that God already placed inside you?
- What if the pain isn’t blocking the power — it’s unlocking it?
- What if what’s breaking you is actually what’s building you?
Finish:
You may feel stuck in the middle…
But His power is right there with you — not on the other side, but right where you are.
So lift your head.
Shake the dust off.
Step again.
Because you’re not just walking through the middle — you’re walking in His power.
And if He got up, so can you.
